Moby Sweater - VESTERHAVET - Knit set

The Moby Sweater is worked from top to bottom in texture and cable patterns. First, the back is knitted using short rows to shape the shoulder slopes. Then, stitches are picked up for the shoulders, which are subsequently gathered at the front to form the front piece. The front and back are placed on a needle under the armholes, forming the body, which is knitted straight down. The sleeves are worked in the round on a double-pointed needle set or using the Magic Loop method. The neckband is folded in half at the end and knitted on the inside.

First, knit a gauge swatch to determine the correct needle size for you—keep in mind that this can vary from yarn to yarn. Wash your gauge swatch before taking measurements, as the texture pattern can stretch in the wash.

Size Guide

The Moby Sweater should have a range of movement (positive ease) of 15–20 cm relative to your bust measurement. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL fit a bust measurement of 80–85 (85–90) 90–95 (95–100) 100–110 (110–120) 120–130 (130–140) 140–150 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater can be found on the front of the pattern. Take your measurements before you begin knitting to determine which size will fit you best. If your bust measurement (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size S. A size S sweater has a bust measurement of 106 cm and would therefore have a range of movement (positive ease) of 16 cm.
