The knitting kit includes an alternative to the original yarn specified in the instructions.

The Mohair Gallant Sweater is knitted seamlessly from the top down in raglan style and is particularly suitable for advanced beginners.

The simple, cropped design pairs perfectly with high-waisted jeans or can be worn as a stylish layer over dresses. A narrow stand-up collar and fine I-cord cuffs and hem add an elegant touch.

The garment is worked with two strands of silk mohair, in stockinette stitch in rounds. A minimum of 5 cm of ease is recommended for a comfortable fit.

Sizes:

Bust measurement of the finished sweater with 5 to 10 cm allowance in the pattern: (XS 85, S 90, M 100, L 110, XL 120, 2XL 130, 3XL 140, 4XL 150, 5XL 160 cm). Model wears size M with a 93 cm bust.

Gauge: 20 stitches x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm using 4.50 mm needles in stockinette stitch, knitted in rounds after washing and blocking.

Should you wish to knit in a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately. You can then simply return the unused balls of yarn to us.

For this set you will need the following accessories:

4.5 mm double-pointed needles (short tip) and 4.50 mm circular needles in 40 cm, 80 cm, or 100 cm lengths, or in the correct size to achieve the required gauge. If using the Magic Loop method, you can use longer needles for the neck and sleeves.

For sustainability reasons, these are NOT automatically included in the package.
