The My Love Story Cardigan is a short, elegant cardigan with a deep V-neck and two bows for fastening.

The cardigan is knitted in stockinette stitch from the top down using two strands of yarn. First, stitches are cast on for the neck and shoulders. Then, increases are made to shape the shoulders and then the sleeves. The V-neck is created simultaneously through increases. After separating the sleeves, decreases are made at the sides to create a more fitted silhouette. Finally, all edges of the cardigan are finished with an I-cord edging.

As a final step, four more I-cord cords are knitted onto the front to form the two loops.

Sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL)

Suitable for a chest circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-105 (105-110) cm.

Chest circumference of the finished cardigan: approx. 88 (93) 98 (103) 108 (113) cm (measured at the level of the upper bow)

The sizes are calculated so that the cardigan fits loosely enough that you can comfortably wear it over a (wedding) dress. If your bust measurement is, for example, 93 cm, you should knit a size M.

If you are between two sizes, please choose the smaller size.

The set also comes with two patterns for leftover yarn: a bow and a scrunchie.

Gauge swatch:

10x10 cm = 22 sts x 32 rows knitted in stockinette stitch with 4.0 mm needles using two strands of yarn (measured after washing and drying)

For this set you will need the following accessories:

4.0mm circular knitting needle (80 & 100 cm),

4.0mm double-pointed needles

as well as 4 stitch markers, measuring tape, tapestry needle & scissors
