The Olga Jacket is worked from the top down in stripes. First, the upper part of the back is worked in rows, while the shoulders are shaped using short rows. The stripe pattern is worked simultaneously. Next, the shoulders are worked separately on a circular needle. Both front pieces and the back are then joined to form the body, which is worked in rows in stripes on a circular needle. The sleeves are worked from stitches picked up around the armholes. Finally, the bands and ribbing at the neckline are worked from picked-up stitches.

The Olga Jacket should have approximately 23 cm of positive ease in the smaller sizes and a progressively smaller amount in the larger sizes. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) fit a chest circumference of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The finished jacket measurements can be found on the cover. Take your own measurements before you begin knitting to determine the size that fits you best. If your chest circumference (or the widest part of your body) measures 95 cm, you should choose size M, as this has a chest circumference of 118 cm and the freedom of movement (positive ease) in the example given is 23 cm.

Should you wish to knit in a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately. You can then simply return the unused balls of yarn to us.

For this set you will need the following accessories:

• 4 mm circular knitting needles (40, 60 and 80 and/or 100 cm)
• 3.5 mm circular knitting needles (40 and 80 and/or 100 cm)
• 3.5 and 4 mm double-pointed needles (unless knitting with the Magic Loop method)
• 6 buttons (Ø = 20 mm)

For sustainability reasons, these are NOT automatically included in the package.
