About the design:
The Ris Slipover, by knitwear designer Appelbanne Design, is knit seamlessly from the top down, first in rows and then in rounds. You begin with the back and then pick up stitches from it for the fronts. You then knit both fronts separately until they are joined. Once the back is joined to the front, the rest of the body is knit in rounds.
