The knitting kit includes an alternative to the original yarn specified in the instructions.

The Rita Blouse is a simple, short-sleeved raglan blouse with a delicate mini color gradient. It is knitted seamlessly from top to bottom in rounds – in the classic style with raglan increases.

The stitches are cast on using a crochet hook on the circular knitting needle – a simple method that results in a particularly clean and smooth edge.

The entire garment is then worked in rounds. Regular increases are made in the raglan yoke to define the blouse's shape. Once the desired depth is reached, the piece is divided under the arms: the body and sleeves are then worked separately.

First, the body is knitted in rounds until finished. Then, the held stitches for the sleeves are picked up again and also completed in rounds.

All hems are finished with a classic chain stitch – simple and uncomplicated.

Example: You have a chest measurement of 95 cm. This puts you in size M (90-97 cm).

Gauge: 10 stitches x 14 rows = 10 x 10 cm

The following techniques are used in the instructions: casting on with a crochet hook, increases in right-side rows (slanted to the right and left), binding off.

Should you wish to knit in a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately. You can then simply return the unused balls of yarn to us.

For this set you will need the following accessories:

• 8 mm short circular knitting needle, 40 cm and 60-80 cm (cast on, first and last round before binding off)
• 10 mm circular knitting needles, 40, 55 cm and 80 cm (basic pattern)
• Extra tip: if you knit very tightly and use a screw system, use a smaller needle size for the left needle; this will help the stitches slide off the needle more easily in the round!
• Medium-sized crochet hook (approx. 5-6 mm) for casting on stitches
• A total of 8 stitch markers for 10 mm needle size (1 in color 1 and 7 in color 2)
• Yarn scraps for holding stitches, measuring tape, needle, scissors
