The Rose Top from Sandnes' Summer Collection 2504 is a casual, open-back top that can also be worn as a slipover. Particularly striking is the open back, which is only closed at the upper cuff. The model is knitted in a large seed stitch pattern from top to bottom.
You start with the front pieces, which are worked up to under the armpits. Then you pick up stitches from the shoulders for the back pieces and join all parts under the armpits on one needle to continue knitting down to the cuff. The cuffs at the neck, closure, and armholes are knitted on last.
Depending on your preference, the top can be closed with an I-cord, a tie, or a button. It is knitted with Mandarin Petit, which is worked with two strands held together.
The model is 179 cm tall and wears size M.

Optional 1 button or a ribbon, if a cord is not to be knitted to close the back part
