The knitting kit includes an alternative to the original yarn specified in the instructions.

The Rossi Neck Cardigan is a simple, modern knit jacket in a minimalist style. The classic patent stitch pattern and clean, straight cut create a timeless look with a special impact. The slim-cut sleeves also make the cardigan ideal for wearing under coats or parkas.

The work is done from top to bottom in one continuous piece. First, the right and left facings are created, and stitches are then picked up along their long sides. Increases for the front and back pieces are then made along the shoulder. The facings are integrated directly into the front pieces and seamlessly carried along.

Once the shoulder increases are complete, the right front, back, and left front pieces are each knitted separately up to the armholes. Then, all three pieces are joined together and the body is finished in one piece.

For the sleeves, stitches are picked up from the armholes and knitted in rounds.

Some practice with the patent pattern is helpful for this set.

Dimensions of finished model:

Gauge swatch: Patent stitch pattern with 3 strands and 7 mm needles in rows and rounds, or choose the appropriate needle size: 10 stitches x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm
When counting rows, 1 patent stitch corresponds to two rows (2 rows = 1 patent row)

The following techniques are used in the instructions: slip stitch cast-on, slipped stitch
Patent stitches with overlocks, increases from a patent stitch
Picking up stitches from a knitted piece (band and sleeves), short rows with wrapped stitches in full brioche stitch, elastic bind-off with Chinese waitress bind-off

Should you wish to knit in a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately. You can then simply return the unused balls of yarn to us.

For this set you will need the following accessories:

7 mm circular knitting needle, cable length 40 cm, 60 and 80 cm, 6 mm circular knitting needle with short cable for picking up stitches from the front edge, A total of 10 large stitch markers for the 7 mm needle
