The knitting kit includes a yarn alternative to the original yarn specified in the instructions, which has been approved by the designer.

The Saturday Night Sweater is knit from the top down with a rounded yoke. The neckline is created using short rows. The ribbing is worked last by picking up stitches from the cast-on edge. The sleeves of the Saturday Night Sweater end with a tight cuff at the elbows – the sleeves above the cuff thus have a small puff.

The Saturday Night Sweater should have approximately 7-9 cm of positive ease relative to your chest measurement. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL fit a chest measurement of approximately 85 (90) 95 (100) 110 cm. Take your own measurements before you begin knitting to ensure you have chosen the correct size. For example, if your chest measurement is 90 cm, you should choose size S with a chest measurement of 98 cm.

Should you wish to knit in a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately. You can then simply return the unused balls of yarn to us.

For this set you will need the following accessories:

• 6mm circular knitting needles, 40 and 80 cm long
• 7mm circular knitting needles, 40, 60 and 80 cm long
• 6mm double-pointed needles
