The September jacket is knitted from the top down in a brioche stitch pattern using one strand of Sunday yarn and two strands of Tynn Silk Mohair yarn. First, the back is knitted, followed by the right shoulder, then the left. These three sections are then joined onto a circular needle for the body, which is knitted back and forth in rows in brioche stitch. The sleeves are knitted from the stitches picked up at the armhole. Finally, button bands are knitted along the front edges of the jacket, as well as a ribbed neckline. The pockets are also knitted in brioche stitch and attached to the jacket last. The jacket is closed with snap fasteners.

The white September jacket is in “Sunday” Whipped cream (Fb 1012) together with “Tynn Silk Mohair” “ knitted in natural (color 1012).

The brown September jacket is in “Sunday” in Chocolate truffle (Fb 2564) together with “Tynn Silk Mohair” “ knitted in Gyllenbrun (Fb 2755).

Should you wish to knit in a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately. You can then simply return the unused balls of yarn to us.

Gauge: 12 stitches x 38 rows in brioche stitch on 4.5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm. Note that 38 rows in brioche stitch count as 19 knit stitches. Note: The swatch must be washed and blocked, as the brioche stitch stretches when washed. Adjust the needle size if necessary to achieve the correct gauge.

For this set you will need the following accessories:

• 4.5 mm circular knitting needle (40, 60, 80 and/or 100 cm), 3.5 and 4 mm circular knitting needles (80 cm), 4.5 mm double-pointed needles
• Thin elastic band for the neckline. 5 (5) 5 (5) 5 (5) 5 buttons and the corresponding number of large snap fasteners (ø = 21 mm).
