September Slipover SUNDAY & TYNN SILK MOHAIR - knitting set

The September pullover is knitted from the top down in a brioche stitch. First, the back is worked by casting on stitches for the neck, which is then worked in rows with increases on both sides. Next, stitches are picked up for the shoulders, which are knitted separately and collected on the front. The front and back are joined in the round under the armholes, and the body is knitted in rounds on a circular needle. Finally, stitches are picked up at the neck and armholes, and the ribbed cuffs are worked.

Please knit a gauge swatch before you begin the actual knitting to determine the correct needle size for your skill level. Keep in mind that the brioche stitch is difficult to measure precisely due to its elasticity – feel free to measure several times.

Gauge: 16 stitches x 48 rows in brioche stitch on 3.5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm (note that 48 rows in brioche stitch count as 24 knit stitches)
