Stockholm Sweater - TYNN SILK MOHAIR - Knitting set

The Stockholm Sweater is knitted from top to bottom in stockinette stitch with double thread Knitted in silk/mohair. First, the upper part of the back is knitted, then stitches are picked up along the cast-on edge of the back for the shoulders. The shoulders are knitted separately using short rows to create a gusset. The front and back are gathered under the arm and knitted in rounds on a circular needle. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up along the armholes and then worked with double-pointed needles or the Magic Loop The Stockholm sweater is knitted in rounds. Finally, stitches are picked up along the neckline, where a ribbed edge is knitted, folded to the wrong side, and sewn in place. Apart from the folded neckline, the Stockholm sweater does not require any further sewing.

Size Guide

The Stockholm Sweater should allow for freedom of movement ( positive ease). The garment should be approximately 15 cm larger than your chest measurement. The cut is oversized. Sizes 34 (36) 38 (40) 42 (44) 46 (48) 50 fit a chest measurement of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The finished sweater measurements are shown on the front of the garment. Take your own measurements before you begin knitting to determine the size that fits you best. If your chest measurement (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size 36. A sweater in size 36 has a chest circumference of 105 cm and would in this case have a freedom of movement ( positive ease ) of 15 cm.

The model shown wears size 34 and has a chest circumference of 82 cm and a height of 1.64 m.
