The Studio Sweater is the ideal knitting base for the design of your choice.

This knitting kit contains only the yarn for the background color of your sweater. Choose your desired design from the product photos and add 1-2 additional balls of Cool Wool Big to your cart for each color of your design 🧶

Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL fit a chest circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-105 (105-115) 115-125 cm.

The Studio Sweater is oversized and has approximately 20-25cm of positive freedom of movement.

Chest circumference of the finished sweater: approx. 105 (110) 115 (120) 125 (130) 145 cm

Length of finished sweater: 47 (47) 48 (49) 50 (51) 52 cm (measured at the center back)

The sweater is knitted from the top down. First, the upper part of the back is knitted in rows, while increases are made to shape the shoulders. Next, new stitches are picked up for the shoulders and knitted in rows. The stitches of the two shoulders are then joined to form the front . The front and back can either be knitted separately to the bottom (ideal for motif knitting using the intarsia method) or collected on circular needles and knitted in rounds . For the sleeves, new stitches are picked up from the armholes and knitted in rounds. For the collar, new stitches are picked up from the neckline , knitted in a twisted rib pattern in rounds, folded over, and knitted to the inside of the sleeve.

10 x 10 cm = 21 sts x 33 rows knitted in stockinette stitch with 4mm needles (measured after washing and drying, in a slightly stretched state).

Which techniques should you master or look at beforehand: casting on normally, knit and purl stitches, right and left slanted increases, picking up stitches, right and left twisted stitches, possibly mattress stitch, possibly intarsia in rows, possibly duplicate stitch

4.0 mm circular knitting needle (80 & 40cm),

3.5 mm circular knitting needle (80 & 40cm),
