The slipover is knitted from top to bottom.
First, the upper part of the back is worked in rows. Then, the shoulders are picked up along the cast-on edge and knitted separately in rows before being joined to form the front. The front and back are then joined to form the body and knitted in rounds until the lace finishing edge.
