The Twist Top is a figure-hugging knitted top with long sleeves and “twisted” cutouts, which are knitted using the Verona Twist technique. It can be worn perfectly both over another top and on its own.

The instructions include a detailed video tutorial on the Verona Twist technique.

The design is knitted from the top down. First, stitches are cast on for the neck and shoulders. Then, the shoulders and sleeves are shaped first by increasing stitches. Simultaneously, the neckline is formed by increasing stitches. At the end of the neckline, the first [unclear text] follows.

A - Chest circumference of the finished top: approx. 77 (80) 85 (90) 95 (101) 105 cm

B - Waist circumference of the finished top: approx. 70 (73) 78 (83) 88 (96) 100 cm

C - Hip circumference of the finished top: Thanks to the open slit at hip level, the circumference adapts perfectly to you here.

D - Upper arm circumference of the finished top: approx. 27 (28) 28 (29) 30 (31) 31 cm

E - Circumference at the sleeve cuff of the finished top: approx. 22 (23) 23 (24) 25 (26) 27 cm

Length of the finished top: approx. 55 (56) 56 (57) 58 (58) 58 cm (But you can of course adjust the length.)

A notice:

The top has a negative range of motion of approximately 5-10cm. If you are between two sizes, choose the smaller size if you prefer a tighter fit and the larger size if you prefer a looser fit.

Gauge: 10x10 cm = 23 sts x approx. 36 rows in stockinette stitch with 3.5 mm needles . Measured after washing and drying, slightly blocked.

The Twist Top can be knitted either from Lana Grossa's Ecopuno or from Cardiff Cashmere's Cashmere Classic.

The pink Twist Top in the first product image was knitted from Ecopuno in the color Carnation by Luisa from @ilsyknits (size XS). The other two Twist Tops in the product images were knitted from Cashmere Classic in the colors 666 - ZAR & 725 - NIWA (each in size S) knitted.
