The Valerie Blouse is worked in one piece from top to bottom.
It is knitted like a cardigan with a slanted opening at the front, and the opening is closed with buttons at the end. The yoke is constructed so that sleeve increases are made first, followed by raglan increases.
The neckline is shaped using short rows. The sleeves are worked in rounds on double-pointed needles or using the Magic Loop method.

First knit a gauge swatch to determine the right needle size for you.
Wash the gauge swatch, as the recommended yarn may grow during washing and wearing.

The knitting kit includes an alternative to the original yarn specified in the instructions.

Size guide : Take your own measurements before you start knitting to determine the size that fits you best.
If your chest circumference (or the widest part of your body) measures 90 cm, you should choose size S.
A blouse in size S has a chest circumference of 89 cm and would have a freedom of movement ( negative ease ) of -1 cm in the chosen example.

Gauge : 23 stitches x 33 rows in stockinette stitch on 3.5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

If you would like to knit in a larger size, you can purchase additional yarn separately.
Order additional balls of yarn. You can simply return any unused balls of yarn to us.

For this set you will need the following accessories:

Circular knitting needle 3.5 mm (40, 60 and 80 and/or 100 cm)
3.5 mm double-pointed needles
Light-colored buttons
