Please measure your chest circumference to find the right size for you. The length of the sweater can be adjusted while knitting.
The sizes correspond to a chest circumference of up to 84 (85 - 94) 95 - 104 (105 - 114) cm
The Viola Sweater has a range of motion (positive ease) of approximately 23 cm at the medium level. The finished sweater's circumference is therefore about 23 cm larger than your measured chest circumference.
This knitting kit is one of the final designs from our Community Knitty Contest on Instagram.
It is made from our beloved ALPAKKA Knitted from 100% alpaca wool by Sandnes, it is therefore wonderfully soft on the skin.
Needles :
Circular knitting needles 3.5 and 2.5 mm (80 or 100 cm)
Double-pointed needles 3.5 and 2.5 mm (if not knitting with the Magic Loop method)
Gauge swatch :
Smooth right:
22 stitches x 30 rows on 3.5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm
Ribbed pattern:
1 stitch right, 1 stitch left alternating
28 stitches x 40 rows on 2.5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm
