Zipper Sweater Light Man - PEER GYNT - Knitting set

The Zipper Sweater Light is knitted in one piece from the top down. The neckline is worked in ribbing, folded double, and knitted onto the inside. The yoke is worked with raglan increases, first in rows on a circular needle to create a slit for the zipper, then in rounds on a circular needle. The body and sleeves are worked in the round. The back zipper facing is knitted from stitches held on hold, ensuring the zipper looks neat from the inside after it's sewn in. The zipper itself is then sewn in between two layers of knit fabric – either by hand or machine.

The Zipper Sweater Light – You should have approximately 20 cm of positive ease in relation to your chest measurement. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) fit a chest measurement of 86-91 (91-96) 96-101 (101-107) 107-113 (113-119) 119-124 (124-132) cm. The finished sweater measurements can be found on the front of these instructions. Take your own measurements before you begin knitting to determine the size that fits you best. For example, if your chest measurement (or the widest part of your body) is 103 cm, you should choose size L. A sweater in size L has a chest measurement of 127 cm and would have 24 cm of positive ease in this case.

Recommended needles: Circular knitting needles 3 mm (80 cm), 3.5 mm (80 cm) and 4 mm (40, 80 and/or 100 cm), double-pointed needles 4 mm and 3.5 mm (unless knitting with the Magic Loop method)
