The Bruno Vest is knitted top-down in stockinette stitch. It begins with the left and right back panels, which are worked separately. After casting on stitches for the neck, the pieces are joined so that the back is knitted as one piece. Next, stitches are picked up to knit the left and right front panels separately. Once the stitches for the neckline are cast on, the front panels are joined and knitted straight. Then, stitches are picked up along the armholes to knit the cuff in 1x1 ribbing in rows. This cuff is folded in half and secured on the wrong side. Finally, all parts are joined to knit the body in the round. Lastly, stitches are picked up to knit the neckline in 1x1 ribbing in the round, which is also folded in half and secured on the wrong side.

Sizes: XS / S / M / L / XL / 2XL / 3XL

The Bruno Vest has an oversized, cropped fit with approx. 20 cm of positive ease, slightly reduced for larger sizes to ensure a more comfortable fit. This means that the garment measurements are approx. 20 cm larger than your actual bust circumference.

Sizes XS / S / M / L / XL / 2XL / 3XL are designed for a bust circumference of 80-85 / 85-90 / 90-95 / 95-100 / 100-110 / 110-120 / 120-130 cm.

Gauge:
23 sts x 33 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 4 mm needles.
31 sts × 37 rows = 10 × 10 cm in 1x1 ribbing on 3.5 mm needles.
34 sts × 40 rows = 10 × 10 cm in 1x1 twisted ribbing on 3 mm needles.

If you wish to knit a larger size, you can order additional yarn balls separately. You can then simply return any unused yarn balls to us.

For this set, you will need the following accessories:

4 mm, 80 or 100 cm, 3.5 mm, 80 or 100 cm, 3 mm, 40 and 80 or 100 cm
& 5 mm, 40 and 80 or 100 cm

Stitch markers, scrap yarn or stitch holders, thin and smooth yarn in a contrasting color (approx. 10 m), tapestry needle.
