The Calista Sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down in stockinette stitch, while simultaneously following a colorwork chart with multiple colors. It begins with a stand-up collar. This is followed by the yoke, which is worked flat in rows and shaped with raglan increases. Short rows are used for a better fit, adjusting the back, shoulders, and neckline.

Once this part is completed, the stitches are joined together and the remaining part of the yoke is knitted in rounds up to the lower end of the armholes.
Then you put the sleeve stitches on hold, cast on new stitches for the lower edge of the armholes and knit the body in rounds until the cuff.

Finally, the held sleeve stitches are picked up again and the sleeves are worked in the round. The colorwork pattern is continued according to the knitting chart.

The knitting kit includes an alternative to the original yarn specified in the instructions.

Sizes: XS / S / M / L / XL / 2XL / 3XL

The Calista Sweater has a relaxed fit and is designed with approximately 15 cm of extra room; this is slightly reduced in larger sizes to ensure a more comfortable fit. This means that the garment's dimensions

Chest circumference:

Gauge swatch after washing and blocking:

17 sts x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch with 5.5 mm needles.
22 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm in 1x1 rib pattern with 4 mm needle size.

Please be sure to knit a gauge swatch. Make sure your gauge matches the one specified above. If you cannot achieve the required gauge with the suggested needles, adjust your needle size to obtain the correct gauge.

If you would like to knit in a larger size, you can purchase additional yarn separately.
Order additional balls of yarn.
You can simply send the unused balls of yarn back to us.

4 mm or long circular knitting needles for the Magic Loop method
