The hat is knitted in one piece from the inner to the outer tip. First, stitches are cast on with double-pointed needles and increases are worked. The middle section is then comfortably knitted on circular needles. For the decreases (= outer tip of the hat), you switch back to double-pointed needles. The result is a long knitted tube with two "tips," which is then folded together to form a double-layered hat.

The knitting kit contains an alternative to the original yarn specified in the pattern.

Sizes: Head circumference: 48 - 50 (51 - 53) 54 -56 (57 - 59) 60 - 62 cm

BASIC PATTERN: Stockinette stitch in the round: knit all stitches.

Gauge: Stockinette stitch in the round with 4.0 mm needles: 21 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm

If you want to knit a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately. You can then easily return any unused balls of yarn to us.

For this set, you will need the following accessories:

Circular needle 4.0 mm (40 or 50 cm), double-pointed needles 4.0 mm

For sustainability reasons, these are NOT automatically included in the kit.
