The Chantal V-neck sweater is knitted from the top down in a slipped stitch pattern. It begins with a yoke worked in rows, which includes both raglan increases and increases for the V-neck.
Shortened rows are used to shape the neck for a better fit.

Once the V-neck is finished, the stitches are joined together and the yoke is knitted in rounds up to the end of the armholes.
Then you put the sleeve stitches on hold, cast on additional stitches for the armholes and knit the body in rounds to the hem.

Finally, the held sleeve stitches are picked up again and the sleeves are worked in rounds. To finish, stitches are picked up along the neckline and the neckline is knitted in a 1x1 rib pattern.

The knitting kit includes an alternative to the original yarn specified in the instructions.

Sizes: XS / S / M / L / XL / 2XL / 3XL

The Chantal V-neck sweater has a relaxed fit and is designed with approximately 15-20 cm of extra room; this is slightly reduced in larger sizes to ensure a more comfortable fit. This means that the garment will be approximately 15-20 cm larger than your actual bust measurement.

Chest circumference : 80-85 / 85-90 / 90-95 / 95-100 / 100-110 / 110-120 / 120-130cm

Gauge swatch : After washing and stretching:

26 sts x 40 rows = 10 x 10 cm in slip stitch pattern with needle size 4.5 mm.
28 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm in 1x1 rib pattern with 3 mm needles.

Should you wish to knit in a larger size,
You can order additional balls of yarn separately.
You can simply send the unused balls of yarn back to us.

Circular knitting needles:

4.5 mm, 40, 60 and 80 or 100 cm
3 mm, 40 and 80 or 100 cm

Double needles:

3 mm or long circular knitting needles for the Magic Loop method.
