The Charlie Beanie from the Sandnes 2412 collection is a casual fisherman's hat that is worked from the bottom up. You start with an Italian cast-on, which ensures a particularly elastic and neat edge. Then you knit in a twisted rib pattern until the distinctive decreases begin. Thanks to the Italian cast-on, the brim remains very stretchy and fits comfortably and securely on the head.
The grey model in the photo was knitted with two strands of "ALPAKKA ULL" in "Arctic ice color 5811" and "ALPAKKA FOLGETRAD" in "Arctic ice color 5811".
The green model in the photo was knitted with two strands of "ALPAKKA ULL" in "Dark olive color 9873" and "ALPAKKA FOLGETRAD" in "Dark olive color 9873".
