The ESTELLE Sweater is a boxy-cut sweater with a lace pattern. With its short fit and 7/8 sleeves, it pairs particularly well with dresses or high-waisted trousers. Perfect for warm autumn days and, knitted from cotton, also ideal for summer.

The sweater is knitted top-down in a lace pattern. First, the back is knitted, then the left and right front pieces. The back and front pieces are knitted in rows until the end of the armholes. Then both parts are joined for the body and worked in the round. For the sleeves, stitches are picked up from the side edges of the front and back pieces and also knitted in the round. Finally, the neckline is bordered with a ribbed cuff.

The sweater should have a positive ease of approx. 10 - 15 cm. If you like it oversized, you can plan for a little more positive ease. At a height of 1.76 m and a bust circumference of 88 cm, I am wearing the sweater in the cover photo in size M.

Gauge: Lace pattern in rows with 7.0 mm needles (or 6.5 mm for the cotton version): approx. 12 sts x 16 rows = 10 x 10 cm, measured after washing, slightly stretched and laid flat.
To adjust the gauge, choose a different needle size if necessary.

The instructions use the following techniques: Lace pattern, left and right leaning increases, bind off with the 'Italian method'

Should you wish to knit in a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately.

You can then return any unused balls of yarn to us.

For this set, you will need the following accessories:
Circular knitting needles 7.0 mm / 80 -100 cm and 40 - 50 cm for sleeves and neckline.
Circular knitting needles 5.5 mm / 80 -100 cm for the body cuff, 40 - 50 cm for the neckline and sleeve cuffs.

For sustainability reasons, these are NOT automatically included in the package.
