A relaxed cardigan with a structured gingham check pattern in brioche and garter stitch look.

Ginny is crafted seamlessly from top to bottom and features an off-the-shoulder design. The fit is straight and boxy, with identical measurements at the bust and hips. The design is completed with added pockets.

The knitting kit includes an alternative to the original yarn specified in the instructions.

Gauge swatch:

20 stitches / 20 rows = 10 cm in patent and garter stitch squares (9 stitches each in patent and garter stitch, 10 counted/20 worked rows per square) with main needle size according to wingspan

20 stitches / 26 rows = 10 cm in stockinette stitch with a larger needle size after blocking

If you would like to knit in a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately.
You can simply send the unused balls of yarn back to us.

For this set you will need the following accessories:

Main needle size: 3.5 mm circular knitting needles (or size to fit gauge), 80-120 cm long; and double-pointed needles of the same size for the knitted edge, sleeve and pocket cuffs.

Larger needle size: 4 mm circular knitting needles (or size to fit gauge), 80-120 cm long, or double-pointed needles; for sleeves and pocket linings

Smaller needle size: 2-3 mm circular knitting needles or double-pointed needles for picking up the pocket stitches.

Darning needle, 2 stitch markers, 2 lengths of leftover yarn for the pockets knitted in later.

For sustainability reasons, these are NOT automatically included in the package.
