The GRAPE TEE is knitted in stockinette stitch and embellished with an elegant slip stitch pattern. Although it looks like an intricate stranded stitch pattern, it's actually quite simple – you just work with one color at a time. This keeps the difficulty level pleasantly low.
The simple silhouette of the T-shirt is given a modern touch by a forward-shifted shoulder line. It is knitted seamlessly from the top down: First, the neckband is worked in rounds, then short rows shape the neckline. Knitting continues in rounds until the full shoulder width is reached. The work is then divided into front and back pieces, which are knitted separately in rows up to the armholes. At the armholes, the two pieces are joined again, so that the body is worked seamlessly in rounds to the hem.
The sleeves are created by picking up stitches from the armholes. Short rows shape the shoulder area before the sleeves are also knitted in the round on a circular needle.

The knitting kit includes an alternative to the one specified in the instructions.
