The JACKIE Bandana is a small, simple triangular scarf. It is perfect as a neckerchief with blouses and shirts, but also works very well as a headband - the perfect small accessory for spring and summer - quickly knitted with just one skein.

The scarf is knitted sideways and begins with a narrow band in a rib pattern. Then, using increases and decreases, the central triangle is formed, i.e., increases are worked up to the widest point, the central tip, and then decreases. Finally, a narrow band in a rib pattern is knitted, similar to the opposite side.

Size/ Dimensions:
Length: approx. 112 cm
Width (central tip): approx. 21 cm

Gauge:Stockinette stitch with 3.0 mm needles: 29 sts x 35 rows = 10 x 10 cm (measured washed and laid flat). If necessary, choose a different needle size to match the gauge.

The instructions use the following techniques: Double selvedge stitch, right-leaning increases and decreases.

Should you wish to knit a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately. Unused balls of yarn can then simply be returned to us.
