The Liv Blouse is knitted from top to bottom in stockinette stitch, starting with the left and right back pieces, which are shaped with short rows.
Then, stitches are cast on for the neckline and the back pieces are joined to continue knitting the back in one piece. Next, stitches are picked up for the left and right front pieces, which are worked separately with increases for the neckline, then joined together and knitted in one piece. Once the front and back pieces are complete, stitches are cast on for the armholes and the body is knitted in the round to the hem. The hem is finished in rows to create a diagonal slit. Both edges of the slit and the neckline are finished neatly with an I-cord.
Finally, the sleeve stitches are picked up and knitted in the round.

The knitting kit includes an alternative to the original yarn specified in the instructions.

The Liv Blouse has a regular fit and is designed with approximately 10 cm of extra ease; this is slightly reduced in larger sizes for a more comfortable fit. This means that the garment's measurements will be approximately 10 cm larger than your actual bust measurement.

Gauge swatch: After washing and stretching:

20 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch with 4.5 mm needles.

30 sts x 31 rows = 10 x 10 cm in 1x1 rib pattern with needle size 3.5 mm.

28 rows = 10 cm in the I-cord technique with 3 mm needles.

Should you wish to knit in a larger size,
You can order additional balls of yarn separately.
You can simply send the unused balls of yarn back to us.
