The Liv Top is worked flat from the top down, starting with the left and right back panels, which are shaped with short rows. Then stitches are cast on for the neckline and the back panels are joined to continue knitting the back in one piece. Subsequently, stitches are picked up for the left and right front panels, which are worked individually with increases for the neckline, then joined and knitted in one piece. Once the front and back panels are completed, stitches are cast on for the armholes and the body is worked in the round down to the hem. The hem is finished in rows to create slits. Then stitches are picked up around the neckline to knit a stand-up collar in rib pattern. For a neat finish, an I-cord is knitted along the armholes at the end.

The green garment in the photo is knitted from Cashmere Classic by Cardiff, color 579 [SIZE M].

The Liv Top has a regular fit and is designed with approx. 0-5 cm (0-2 in) positive ease; slightly reduced for larger sizes to ensure a more comfortable fit. This means that the garment measurements will be approx. 0-5 cm (0-2 in) larger than your actual bust circumference.
Sizes XS / S / M / L / XL / 2XL / 3XL are designed for a bust circumference of 80-85 / 85-90 / 90-95 / 95-100 / 100-110 / 110-120 / 120-130 cm (31.5-33.5 / 33.5-35.5 / 35.5-37.5 / 37.5-39.5 / 39.5-43.5 / 43.5-47.5 / 47.5-51.25 in).

Gauge:
After washing and blocking:
23 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) in stockinette stitch with 4 mm (US 6) needles.
28 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) in 1x1 rib pattern with 3 mm (US 2.5) needles.
23 rows = 10 cm (4 in) in I-cord technique with 3.5 mm (US 4) needles.

Circular needles: 4 mm (US 6), 80 or 100 cm (32 or 40 in), 3.5 mm (US 4), 40 cm (16 in) & 3 mm (US 2.5), 40 cm (16 in).
Double-pointed needles: 3.5 mm (US 4) optional.

Stitch markers, waste yarn or stitch holders, darning needle.
