Luna Zip Sweater Solid - PEER GYNT & TYNN SILK MOHAIR - Knitting Kit

The Luna Zip Sweater is knitted from the top down in stockinette stitch, with three strands of yarn in different colors held together to create a unique mélange effect. The upper back section is knitted in rows, with short rows shaping the neckline and shoulder slopes, and increases forming the armholes. Then stitches are picked up to knit the right and left front sections individually, creating an opening for the zipper. After the front and back sections are finished, they are joined and the body is continued in the round to the hem. Stitches are picked up along the armholes to knit the sleeves in the round. The neckline is finished in 1x1 ribbing in rows, and hidden plackets are created to form the zipper placket where the zipper will be sewn in at the end.

The knitting kit includes an alternative to the original yarn specified in the pattern.

Sizes: XS / S / M / L / XL / 2XL / 3XL / 4XL / 5XL

The Luna Zip Sweater has a wide (oversized) fit and is designed with approx. 13–20 cm of positive ease; slightly reduced for larger sizes to ensure a more balanced and comfortable fit. This means that the garment measurements will be approx. 13–20 cm larger than your actual bust circumference.

Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL are designed for a bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm.

Gauge: After washing and blocking:
17 sts x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch with 4.5 mm needles.

If you want to knit a larger size, you can order additional yarn balls separately. You can then simply return any unused yarn balls to us.
