The Maren Tee is knitted from top to bottom, starting with the collar. Short rows are knitted to achieve a perfect fit for the back and neckline. The front and back are worked separately. Stitches are picked up along the front edge and knitted in double knitting. Then the front and back pieces are joined and continued in the round. Finally, stitches are picked up around the armholes to knit the sleeves in the round.

The knitting kit contains an alternative to the original yarn specified in the instructions.

Sizes: XS / S / M / L / XL / 2XL / 3XL

The Maren Tee has a loose fit and approximately 20 cm of positive ease, which is slightly reduced in larger sizes to ensure a more comfortable fit. Accordingly, the garment measurements are approximately 20 cm larger than your actual bust circumference.

Sizes XS / S / M / L / XL / 2XL / 3XL are designed for a bust circumference of 80-85 / 85-90 / 90-95 / 95-100 / 100-110 / 110-120 / 120-130.

Measure yourself before you start to determine the correct size. For example, if your bust circumference is 90 cm, you should choose size M. If you are between two sizes, choose the size based on how loose you want the shirt to fit. The chart with the finished measurements can help you with size selection.

Gauge:
After washing and blocking:
18 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch with 4.5 mm needles.
44 sts x 52 rows = 10 x 10 cm in double knitting with 3.5 mm needles.
Note: The given gauge corresponds to both layers of double knitting. The visible number of stitches and rows corresponds to half = 22 sts x 26 rows.

If you want to knit a larger size, you can order additional yarn balls separately.

You can then simply return any unused yarn balls to us.

For this set, you will need the following accessories:

Circular needles: 3.5 mm; 100 cm x 2 pieces & 4.5 mm, 40 cm, 80 or 100 cm.
Double-pointed needles: 3.5 mm & 4.5 mm 

Stitch markers, extra yarn or stitch holders, thin scrap yarn in a contrasting color, darning needle, 3 x buttons (ø = 15 mm).

For sustainability reasons, these are NOT automatically included in the package.
