The Micaela Sweater is knitted from top to bottom, starting with the yoke. For a perfect fit, short rows are used to shape the back and neckline. Then, the front and back pieces are knitted separately before being joined together again and knitted in rounds. Stitches are picked up around the armholes to knit the sleeves. Finally, stitches are picked up to complete the neckline in rounds.

Sizes: XS / S / M / L / XL / 2XL / 3XL

The Micaela Sweater has an oversized fit and is designed to have approximately 20 cm of positive ease, with the fit slightly reduced for larger sizes to ensure a more comfortable fit. This means that the garment measurements are approximately 20 cm larger than your actual bust circumference.

Sizes XS / S / M / L / XL / 2XL / 3XL are designed for a bust circumference of 80-85 / 85-90 / 90-95 / 95-100 / 100-110 / 110-120 / 120-130 cm. 

Gauge:
After washing and blocking:
18 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch with 5 mm needles.
23 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm in 1x1 ribbing with 3.5 mm needles.

If you want to knit a larger size, you can order additional yarn balls separately. You can then simply return any unused yarn balls to us.

For this kit, you will need the following accessories:

5 mm of length 40 cm and length 80 or 100 cm
& 4.5 mm of length 80 or 100 cm 
& 3.5 mm of length 40 cm
& 6 mm of length 40 cm

DPNs or long circular needle for Magic Loop: 4.5 mm

Stitch markers, extra yarn or stitch holders, thin, smooth yarn in a contrasting color (approx. 3 m), darning needle.
