The Paul Vest is knitted in stockinette stitch from the top down. First, the left and right shoulders are knitted separately, then joined together. Stitches are then cast on for the back and again for the right and left fronts.
Shorter rows at the shoulders ensure a better fit.
Once all sections are completed, they are joined and knitting continues straight. Then, stitches are picked up along the armholes to work the folded edge in 1x1 ribbing in the round, which is then attached. Next, stitches are picked up for the folded neckband in 2x2 ribbing, which is worked in rows and then attached. Finally, the front bands are worked in double knit, including buttonholes.

The knitting kit includes an alternative to the original yarn specified in the instructions.

The Paul Vest has a regular fit and is designed with approximately 10 cm of extra room; this is slightly reduced in larger sizes for a more comfortable fit. This means the garment's measurements will be approximately 10 cm larger than your actual chest measurement.

Designed for chest circumferences of 80-85 / 85-90 / 90-95 / 95-100 / 100-110 / 110-120 / 120-130 cm.

Gauge swatch: After washing and stretching:

23 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch with 4 mm needles.

30 sts x 35 rows = 10 x 10 cm in 2x2 rib pattern with 3 mm needles.

32 sts x 35 rows = 10 x 10 cm in 1x1 rib pattern with 3 mm needles.

46 sts x 64 rows = 10 x 10 cm in double knitting with 3 mm needles. The specified

Gauge refers to both layers of the double knit.
The visible number of stitches and rows is half the stated number.
l = 23 M x 32 rows.

You can order additional balls of yarn separately.
You can simply send the unused balls of yarn back to us.
