The jacket is knitted from top to bottom using 1 strand of each quality with Double Sunday and Ballerina Chunky Mohair.

First, cast on stitches for the neck with increases to shape the shoulder. The back is worked to just below the armholes. Then, pick up stitches at each shoulder for the right and left fronts. The fronts are worked to just below the armholes with increases for the V-neck. The fronts are then joined to the back before the work is finished with a ribbing. Pick up stitches around each armhole for the sleeves, then pick up stitches along both fronts and the neck for the hem band. Make holes along both hem bands for the ribbon ties. If buttons are preferred instead of ribbon ties, make holes only along one front band.
