The Mud Thing is a long, rustic cardigan with side pockets. It's knitted from BC Garn Loch Lomond and organic Shetland yarn, allowing for harmonious color gradients or striking contrasts. The garter stitch pattern gives it a robust yet soft texture. Seamlessly integrated pockets and a lengthwise knitted band complete the design practically and neatly – a versatile companion for cool days.

Sizes: XS (S, M, L, XL, XXL)
Chest circumference in cm 93 (97.5, 101.5, 111, 121.5, 128) includes 7 cm more width (e.g. for XS 86 cm + 7 cm = 93 cm).
Sleeve circumference in cm 31 (32, 34, 37, 42, 44)
Arm length approx. 43-45 cm.
Armhole depth in cm 20 (20, 20, 21, 22, 22)
Total length in cm approx. +/- 75-80 cm

Gauge swatch:
15 sts x 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm knitted in garter stitch with both yarns using 5.5 mm needles.

The following techniques are used in the instructions: Inclined increases (M1l, M1r) and decreases (2 M re zus, ssk), shortened rows (german short rows).

Should you wish to knit in a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately. You can then simply return the unused balls of yarn to us.

For this set you will need the following accessories:

Main needle 5.5 mm circular knitting needle (80 cm), cuff/border 5.0 mm circular knitting needle (80 cm).

Accesories: Stitch markers, stitch holders or leftover yarn, darning needle, buttons.

For sustainability reasons, these are NOT automatically included in the package.
