The Sharpei Sweater is a soft, slightly cropped, and expressive pullover created from horizontally knitted pleats. The sweater is knitted from the bottom up. First, the body is knitted in the round until it reaches the desired length, then it is divided into front and back pieces. These are knitted back and forth in rows, one after the other, while the neckline is shaped. The shoulders are sewn together using the mattress stitch. The sleeves are knitted with increases that create a balloon effect and are finally sewn to the body.
