The William Sweater Man from the Sandnes 2412 collection is an elegant and minimalist men's sweater that is perfect for both the office and a relaxed look with jeans. The sweater is worked from top to bottom. First, you knit the back, which gets its shape through increases. Then you pick up stitches from the shoulders to knit the front pieces, which widen towards the neck and are finally joined. Afterwards, stitches are picked up from the sides of the shoulders to form the sleeves. From this point on, you continue knitting in rounds, with the raglan increases defining the shoulder area. Below the arms, you then separate the body from the sleeves and knit all parts separately in rounds up to the cuff. Finally, the collar is knitted on and then folded double.
